Whipped Blueberry Cool Whip Dip

By Heidi Robertson on May 24, 2022 3:10:01 PM

It's summertime in NJ and we aren't called the garden state without reason. The berries, the produce, the flowers are all just ripe for our enjoyment. With all the summer gatherings coming up, here's a yummy little addition to your dessert table. While fruit on its own is a healthy and delicious choice, think about adding a fruit dip side that adds some creamy sweetness to each bite.

1- 32 oz container Vanilla Yogurt

Orange Glazed Bacon

By Heidi Robertson on Apr 28, 2022 11:45:00 AM

When planning your Mothers Day brunch consider this tasty side that packs the most pleasant surprise.  On their own, these bacon strips are so delicious that you will want to at least double the recipe or you'll find that the dish is half empty from being snitched before it's time to serve. Crumbled, they are a nice addition to a quiche or wrap them around some pineapple to give a lovely sweet and savory option.

By Heidi Robertson on Mar 29, 2022 11:06:22 AM

Easter is coming, Easter is coming!  On Easter morning the family gathers around the living room as the little ones attack their baskets full of goodies. When the commotion settles we join each other around the breakfast table. There we are greeted with piping hot, delicious, and beautiful Easter bread. Chicken Parmesan the Way to Joe's Heart

By Heidi Robertson on Nov 3, 2021 11:45:00 AM

This recipe is a "famous favorite" of the Giannetti family.
It's the perfect dish to serve for a quiet family dinner. Joe's family spends their Sunday's preparing for
family dinners. If they're lucky, there are left overs for some next-day chicken parm sandwiches.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin.
Salt black pepper
2 cups flour, season with salt and pepper
4 large eggs, beat, add 2 tablespoons water, salt and pepper

French Onion Soup

By Heidi Robertson on Sep 28, 2021 11:45:00 AM

When you think about the changes of the season from summer to fall, everyone seems to go gaga over pumpkin spice and apples. For those of you with sweet tooth's, that's great but for some, we (and I mean me) are all about the soups, stews, and hearty, savory dishes. The sweaters get pulled out of the closets, the Dutch ovens and the crock pots get placed on the counter and the delightful dishes of the fall start making their way into dinner rotation.

One of my favorites is a good old French onion soup.
