Anyone who has driven by DeBoer’s Auto recently may have noticed our new fleet and truck center is getting very close to being completed. We are thrilled to have additional space and equipment to provide even better service to our customers. However, one of the most common questions we have received is whether we are keeping our old shop. The answer is yes and here’s what you need to know about how we will operate going forward.
Customers Can Enjoy Business As Usual
DeBoer’s Auto has grown significantly in the past five years or so and we have the capacity to fill the new shop. We have been working in a satellite shop for the past six months while our new fleet and truck center has been under construction. Upon completion of the fleet and truck center, we will no longer need the satellite shop and will move our standard operations back to our regular shop. As far as our customers go, you will continue to enjoy our normal business as usual in the shop you are familiar with.
Our New Operations Help Us Be More Efficient
Our goal is to make operations as efficient as possible for our customers. So you will still have the same short walk to get to our waiting area at our normal location. When it’s time to work on your vehicle, our team will decide whether we have the capacity and equipment to handle it in our regular shop or if we need to take it to the fleet and truck center. You will receive the same great service regardless of which shop we take it to, and the new operations will not impact you at all.

All of our communication processes will remain the same and our team will continue taking care of you as they always have. Any time a business expands there will be changes that follow, but we have made it a priority at DeBoer’s Auto to ensure our changes do not impact our customers negatively. From the location of our key drops to loaner vehicles and everything in between, we will be keeping things familiar to our customers as much as possible.
DeBoer’s Auto will enjoy working out of our new shop as well as keeping normal operations flowing through our old shop. We appreciate the patience from our customers as we have been going through these transitions over the last few months.
