It’s virtually impossible to do it on your own with the other responsibilities you have to juggle. And you might not have the budget to hire a dedicated fleet manager to stay on top of your vehicles. Not managing your fleet properly can lead to high expenses later on, but we have a possible solution that can help you in many ways. ### **Do You Have A Fleet Manager?** If you don’t have a dedicated fleet manager, it’s time to look into one, and DeBoer’s Auto can help. We can come to you and help you facilitate the management of your fleet and take over the responsibilities a dedicated fleet manager would do. Our job is to make your job as a business owner as easy as possible and we do so by helping you control expenses in the short-term and long term. ### **Fleet Management Means Staying Ahead Of Potential Problems** ![Managing your fleet correctly will keep your vehicles in good operating condition.](https://www.deboersauto.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Blog%203122021%20-%20Properly%20Managing%20Your%20Fleet%20Can%20Prevent%20Major%20Problems.jpeg?width=300&name=Blog%203122021%20-%20Properly%20Managing%20Your%20Fleet%20Can%20Prevent%20Major%20Problems.jpeg)The first thing we will do is to put your fleet on a scheduled maintenance plan. We will track all of the vehicles and have monthly meetings to review all of the details of the fleet. It’s important to know where the vehicles are, what the condition is, what repairs are needed soon, and more. By doing this, we can stay ahead of potential problems so you don’t have critical breakdowns that can damage your bottom line in different ways. We have a unique ability to forecast problems and come up with a solution so you can keep moving forward with your business without interruptions. ### **Implement Driver Checklists To Identify Fleet Issues** DeBoer’s Auto also has an app that each vehicle driver can download to their phone or tablet, which gives them a [checklist to use](https://www.deboersauto.com/blog/how-preventive-fleet-maintenance-saves-you-money-in-the-long-run) to inspect the vehicle before driving it. You can make this a daily or a weekly checklist, but the goal is to verify that the vehicle is being looked at, fluids are being checked, and any issues are identified early. DeBoer’s Auto is ready to step in and manage your fleet so you can take one major task off of your plate. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about how we can help you with fleet management in your organization, don’t hesitate to [contact us](https://www.deboersauto.com/contact-deboers-auto) at any time.
