Last night was a night to remember at the Irish Cottage Inn, where we gathered for an evening of lively music, delicious food, and endless excitement, all for a truly noble cause. We are incredibly grateful to have been a part of this remarkable event, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to every one of you who contributed to its success. We were proud to support Benny's Bodega, a cornerstone of our community, and we were humbled by the incredible work being done by the dedicated team at Benny's Bodega. Without the assistance of government funding, they rely solely on the generosity of individuals like you and us, as well as the dedication of volunteers, to support our A.L.I.C.E. population – working families, military personnel, and retirees striving to make ends meet.
As the melodies of the Mike Lawlor band filled the air and the dance floor swayed with energy, we were reminded of the incredible impact that Benny's Bodega has on our community. We were honored to be able to contribute to their mission of keeping their doors open and ensuring that families in need are fed and cared for.
Of course, the highlight of the evening was the announcement of the winner of our 50/50 raffle, which saw the pot soar to an astonishing $25,000! This life-changing sum will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the life of our winner, Jennifer Shotwell, and will also provide invaluable support to Benny's Bodega.
We are immensely proud to be part of such a compassionate and generous community, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to every one of you who contributed to the success of last night's event. Let us continue to carry the spirit of giving and compassion with us each day, knowing that together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Once again, here's to Benny's Bodega, to Jennifer, and to every one of you who make our community a brighter and more caring place.
