Hamburg, NJ – DeBoer’s Auto is proud to announce that it has been recognized with the GSETA Corporate Partnership Award, presented by the Garden State Employment and Training Association (GSETA) at this year’s GSETA Conference in Atlantic City. The award honors businesses that have made a significant and sustained impact on New Jersey’s workforce through leadership, innovation, and collaboration in workforce and economic development.
The Corporate Partnership Award celebrates companies that demonstrate long-term commitment to growing the state’s workforce and strengthening the connection between education, business, and opportunity. DeBoer’s Auto earned this recognition for its dedication to developing skilled professionals in the automotive industry and its active leadership in advancing apprenticeship programs across Northwest New Jersey.

As chair of the Apprenticeship Committee under the Workforce Development Board (WDB) of Northwest New Jersey, Bill DeBoer, owner of DeBoer’s Auto, has worked alongside local leaders to shape training programs that prepare individuals for in-demand technical careers. These initiatives bridge the gap between classroom education and hands-on experience—helping individuals gain the confidence, credentials, and skills needed to succeed in today’s evolving workforce.

“This recognition is really a reflection of the power of partnership,” said DeBoer. “When local businesses, educators, and workforce leaders come together with a shared purpose, we create opportunities that change lives. Apprenticeships aren’t just training programs—they’re launching pads for careers.”

DeBoer also credited the Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey and its director, Beth Rodgers, for their continued collaboration and support. “Beth Rodgers and her team are the real drivers behind making these programs work,” he added. “Their commitment to employers and job seekers in the tri-county region has been instrumental in connecting talent to opportunity. We couldn’t do what we do without them.”

At DeBoer’s Auto, workforce development is deeply embedded in the company culture. From entry-level apprenticeships to advanced technician training, the shop provides a clear growth path for team members to achieve both professional and personal success. This approach not only strengthens the business but also supports the community by helping people find stable, meaningful careers close to home.

The GSETA Corporate Partnership Award reinforces DeBoer’s Auto’s belief that small businesses can have a big impact when they invest in people. As the company continues to expand its training initiatives and fleet services, it remains committed to its core mission: helping people live life uninterrupted.
