Last week, DeBoer's Auto started installing the new Saab airbags that have been recalled. We have been able to successfully take care of quite a few customers. Saab 15041 and 15043 Recall letters are going out in April 2017, so if you have not received one in the mail yet, you should be seeing it shortly. But, we can do the repair for you even before the letter arrives. It's a very important safety concern!

These recalls were part of the Takata airbags that were blowing up and dispensing shrapnel on deployment. It's a big safety item that needs attention and repair as soon as possible. This is not a message meant to cause scare, but it is a serious concern.

There were some important questions that came up last week, mostly about the concern that consumers were going to have to pay out of pocket for this airbag recall repair. This is a GM safety recall, and GM is taking care of the payment.

So, head on over to www.DeBoersauto.com/saab-airbag-recall, your local Saab official service center, to get your name on the list and have your new and SAFE airbag installed as soon as possible!
