Sussex County is one of the main reasons New Jersey has received the nickname of the garden state. We pride ourselves on our rural culture and farms are at the heart of it. Access to u-pick farms gives visitors the opportunity to understand and connect with the origins of food. While the whole state is sprinkled with u-pick farms some of the best ones are right in Sussex county. In New Jersey, we have the privilege of having the u-pick experience in every season besides winter. Whether it's flowers, fruit, or vegetables u-pick farms provide the farmer's experience year-round.

New Jersey is known for its legendary blueberries among many other crops. Visitors have the opportunity to pick their own blueberries right in the county seat.
