At DeBoer’s Auto, we believe that leadership isn’t just about running a business—it’s about inspiring others, building trust, and creating a culture that feels like family. On this National Boss’s Day 2025, we’re proud to honor Bill DeBoer, Jr., Owner and Visionary of DeBoer’s Auto, whose leadership, innovation, and heart have shaped who we are today.
From its inception, DeBoer’s Auto has been grounded in the belief that customer satisfaction should always be at the center of everything we do. Bill has carried forward the legacy his father began, taking the reins with humility, purpose, and a spirit of innovation. His philosophy is simple but powerful: no matter what business you’re in, you’re in the business of serving people.
Beyond his leadership at DeBoer’s, Bill extends this philosophy into the broader business community. As a published author, he shares his insights and experiences to inspire and guide other business owners toward success. His writing reflects his deep belief in collaboration, growth, and the power of innovation—helping others achieve excellence while staying true to their values. Bill’s passion for mentorship shows in everything he does; he loves encouraging other businesses to thrive and often lends his expertise to help them reach their goals.
Under Bill’s leadership, DeBoer’s Auto has grown into one of New Jersey’s most trusted automotive repair facilities—recognized for excellence, innovation, and community commitment. Through his forward-thinking approach, Bill has integrated cutting-edge technology and streamlined processes that bring transparency and simplicity to every customer experience. Behind the scenes, he fosters a culture built on drive, trust, and teamwork, ensuring that every member of the DeBoer’s crew is empowered to deliver their best.
Bill’s passion for excellence has not gone unnoticed. DeBoer’s Auto has received multiple AAA Awards for Best in Auto Repair, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze honors, and has been named one of NJBIZ’s Best Places to Work. Most recently, the company earned a place on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, an honor that recognizes the fastest-growing and most dynamic private businesses in America. This achievement is not only a reflection of DeBoer’s Auto’s growth but also of Bill’s ability to inspire progress, innovation, and integrity in aspects of the business.
This recognition is also a testament to Bill’s dedication to helping others succeed. Whether through his published work, speaking engagements, or community business initiatives, he is passionate about sharing what he’s learned so others can build sustainable, values-driven companies that strengthen their communities.
But Bill’s impact reaches far beyond the walls of DeBoer’s Auto. His commitment to giving back runs deep. As a board member for Benny’s Bodega, he helps support Sussex County’s ALICE population—those who are working hard but struggling to make ends meet. He also proudly supports organizations such as Ginnie’s House, DAISY, and the Foodshed Alliance, helping ensure that vulnerable individuals and families in our community receive the care and resources they deserve.
In addition to his community involvement, Bill is deeply committed to the trades and workforce development. He serves on the Workforce Development Committee for the State of New Jersey, championing apprenticeships and encouraging young people to explore careers in the trades. His goal is to see Sussex County become a leader in workforce education and opportunity—building the next generation of skilled professionals who will carry industries like ours into the future.
Alongside his professional achievements, Bill is equally devoted to the people who make up the DeBoer’s Auto family. He believes in a family-first philosophy—creating an atmosphere where team members can thrive both personally and professionally. He encourages continued education, skill development, and self-improvement, while always ensuring that we have the time and support to be with our loved ones. Bill has his finger on the pulse of his team’s well-being because, to him, we’re not just employees—we’re family.
Working under Bill’s leadership is both an honor and an inspiration. His open-door approach, mentorship, and genuine care for everyone around him create a workplace where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to succeed.
So today, we say thank you, Bill, for your guidance, generosity, and the countless ways you make DeBoer’s Auto a great place to work, grow, and belong. We’re proud to celebrate you this National Boss’s Day 2025—and every day—for being the kind of leader who not only drives success but also inspires it.
